Connecting the world to entrepreneurship in Sub-Saharan Africa

A Plateform for discussions and exchanges

The Conference aims to provide participants with a platform of discussions and exchanges.

A disproportionately large percentage of sub–Saharan African economies are over–burdened with mounting and persistent social and economic hardships. By 2050, Sub-Saharan Africa is expected to house over 2 billion individuals – roughly 25% of the global population while contributing only about 1.7% to the global Gross Domestic Product (IMF, 2024).

Could there be an African solution involving entrepreneurship and innovation for the region’s problems?

We invite both experienced scholars and new international researchers to collaborate in the pursuit of this vital research agenda through serious engagement in deep contextualization, novel questioning, and innovative theorizing.

We foster the development of pluralistic intellectual perspectives or “pluralistic scholarship” by members of the global research community.

We promote the development of novel ideas and theories that may prove to be useful in advancing knowledge in Sub-Saharan Africa contexts.
